2.7% for Downey
Membership!
We are pleased to
report that, as we go to press, the City of Downey and the members that
are represented by Local 777 in the police/non sworn and general employees
have reached an agreement on 2.7% at 55 with the City.
This wonderful new CalPERS benefit will make a great deal of a difference
in the lives of our members once they retire, reports Local 777
Representative Steve Belhumeur, who handled negotiations along with
Chapter Presidents Thad Phillips and Gail Fitz-Gerald and a great team!
